A kitchen built
on memory
Aaha began with a simple wish — to cook the food of home exactly as our families made it in Nepal. Whole spices toasted and stone-ground each morning. Dal simmered slow. Naan pulled blistered and hot from a live-fire tandoor.
We carried those recipes across the mountains and the sea to Asahikawa, and warmed them with a little Hokkaido snow. Nothing is rushed. Nothing comes from a jar.
“We don't have customers. We have guests who leave as friends.”
